Silly Bandz Video Game?!?

What Are Silly Bandz?
Silly Bandz are a new way for little kids (and some teens) to waste their money. Silly Bandz are basically colored rubber bands in different shapes. When you wear them, they really don't resemble anything, their just colorful bracelets. But when you take them off and lay them down, they form a certain shape. The shapes can range from dragons and unicorns to dollar signs and words, and there are even Justin Bieber Silly Bandz! There are literally hundreds of different Silly Bandz, and they sell faster than hot cakes. Little kids absolutely adore them and I know quite a few teens who wear them, alot of them being guys too! So, since Silly Bandz are so popular, its only natural they make a video game about them.....really? It's kind of sad that video game companies are so uncreative that their making a video game about glorified rubber bands.
Silly Bandz- The Video Game
Zoo Games has had the wonderful idea of creating a video game for this newest, hottest fad. They're working on a DS game simply called "Silly Bandz" which will sell for roughly $30. Thirty dollars for a video game about rubber bands? Before you judge though, let me explain what you actually do in the game. It's one of those catapult games where you launch stuff at a structure and try and destroy it. Well, in Silly Bandz, you fling different shaped Silly Bandz at cages where other Silly Bandz are held captive. You choose which Silly Bandz to catapult at the cages, because some Silly Bandz have special powers, such as exploding or multiplying. Once you beat the level and free all the Silly Bandz, the one's you saved will be added to your army/collection. Of course, there are enemies patrolling on the maps to prevent you from winning, although I can't think of any suitable enemies for Silly Bandz.....anyways, as you get farther into the game, it obviously gets harder and the maps more complex. There are supposedly going to be 40 levels and 200 Silly Bandz to collect, which makes a ton of sense, because why collect real Silly Bandz when you can have virtual ones you can't even wear? If you buy Silly Bandz for the DS for $30, Zoo Games will atleast throw in some exclusive real life Silly Bandz with the Gaming theme in mind. Pinball machines and joysticks, that kind of stuff. The game is set to release the 30th of this November, that is, unless Zoo Games realizes what a ridiculous idea this game is, and puts an end to it. But hey, if your a huge Silly Bandz collector, or just want to pick up a simple video game for your niece or something, that's cool too. Just be careful, because after they play this game, they may never want to play video games again.
